Our Story
A family project born by the sea in Puzol, growing one step — and one concept — at a time.
LaMarimandona was born on the Platja de Puçol with a simple idea: cook with honesty and welcome every person as if they were coming home. Over time, that idea took on different shapes — Beach, Pinup, and soon Islands — but always with the same neighborhood, family spirit and beachfront location.
We're not a chain: we're a small team that has opened spaces where we'd like to sit down ourselves.
Since November 2022
We opened LaMarimandona Beach in November 2022, right on the beachfront of the Platja de Puçol, with a Mediterranean menu that blends Valencian tradition with Italian touches. It was, and still is, the starting point: the place where we learned what it means to take care of every table as if it were the only one.
Today Beach is an established restaurant facing the sea, with rice dishes, its own wine cellar and a terrace that fills up every summer, and it remains the heart of the project.
Since June 2025
In June 2025 we opened LaMarimandona Pinup, also facing the Puçol beach, with a retro 50s look — neon signs, racing-flag checkerboard patterns and a more casual menu of burgers, fried food and cocktails — designed for a more laid-back plan without losing sight of the sea.
It's proof that the same project can be enjoyed in more than one way: same closeness, same view, a different way of spending the evening.
Coming Soon
Under construction
Islands is our next step: a space still under construction, conceived as a more intimate getaway within the same LaMarimandona family. It doesn't have an opening date yet, but it shares the same idea as always — taking care of every detail before opening the door.
When it's ready, it will be the third chapter of this story. Until then, it will keep growing alongside Beach and Pinup, facing the very same sea.
Our long-term vision isn't to open many venues, but to open the right ones: spaces different from one another, but with the same standards in the kitchen, in service and in how we treat everyone who visits us. Beach taught us the craft; Pinup taught us to dare to try something different; Islands will be the next lesson.
We're still a small, close-knit team, with our feet in the sand of the Platja de Puçol, slowly building something we want to last.
